ABOUT AUSTIN MCNAMARA

Former Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year that played college football at Texas Tech University from 2019 until 2023. Following his 2023 season, he was then signed by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024. He has also played for the New York Jets during his NFL career.

He was a two-sport athlete while in high school. At the time, he played football and basketball.

In 2021, he recorded a 48.2 yard punting average which is a Texas Tech program record and a Big 12 conference record. He's also the second punter in Texas Tech history to invited to the Senior Bowl.

Growing up, he lived with his parents and his three siblings. He is the oldest of four.

He played college football at Texas Tech just like Patrick Mahomes .
