ABOUT AVIGAIL ALFATOV

Israeli fencer, model, and beauty queen known for being named Miss Israel 2015. She went on to represent her country at that year's Miss Universe, but did not place.

She started fencing while in elementary school and eventually became Israel's youth champion in the sport. She's expressed a desire to fence at the Olympics.

Like most able-bodied Israelis, she was conscripted into the military and became part of the air force. She has more than 20,000 followers on Instagram.

She grew up in Acre, Israel.
