He moved from his birth country of Yemen to the United States, and raised his family in Brooklyn, New York.
He mimicked his sons "omg" part of his social media usernames by creating a Twitter account called omgbabasaleh.
He married Mama Saleh. They had six children together.
He is the grandfather to grandchildren named Hamzah , Jamal, Yousif and Mohsin , Reema and Deena .
