Most well known as the mother of singer-songwriter Jacob Whitesides .

In May 2014, she joined the social media world by creating her Twitter account and posting the debut tweet "Hey girls and guys- I have a twitter!!!"

After a battle with cancer, she and her son announced she was cancer free in a series of July 2015 tweets.

She has two children, Jacob and Sierra Whitesides . Sierra has grown incredibly popular on social media.

Between 2015 and 2016, her son was dating another renowned pop singer, Bea Miller .
