ABOUT BEEGIE ADAIR

Jazz pianist known for playing Frank Sinatra and Cole Porter tributes with her group the Beegie Adair Trio. In 2002, she released The Great American Songbook Collection.

She studied piano and got her BS in music from Western Kentucky University. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and did master's work at Peabody College.

She worked as a session musician for WSM-TV and on The Johnny Cash Show.

She was born Bobbe Gorin Long in Barren County, Kentucky. She was married to Billy Adair until his death in 2014.

As a session musician, she played with a number of famous singers and musicians, including Chet Atkins , Dolly Parton , and Peggy Lee .
