ABOUT BEN GARFIELD

Brother of The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield . He works as a pulmonary specialist at the Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea, London. He was in the audience of Stephen Colbert 's The Late Show during an interview with his brother and was made fun of for being bald and looking nothing like Andrew. He was awarded a Clinical Research Fellowship by the Medical Research Council in 2013.

He graduated from Nottingham Medical School in 2004.

As children, he and Andrew's father would create movies that they would star in, including a boxing video filmed while he was six. Andrew talked about his close relationship with Ben and how they stayed in contact every day during the COVID-19 lockdown in an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan .

He was born in California and raised in Epsom, England. He and his brother were born to Richard and Lynn Garfield. His father is from the United States. His mother was from England. His mother passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

His brother and Tobey Maguire have both played the role of Spider-Man.
