ABOUT BENJAMIN ŠEšKO

Veteran center-forward and athlete who originally signed his first professional contract with the Austrian-based club Red Bull Salzburg in 2019. A few years later, he signed a multi-year deal with the German-based club RB Leipzig in July of 2023.

He initially began his youth soccer career with NK Radeče in 2010. He was only seven years old at the time.

He scored his first career international goal while playing against Team Malta during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He and his teammates won the match with a score of 4-0. He is also a member of the Slovenian men's national team.

He grew up in Radeče, Slovenia. He posted a December 2022 Instagram photo featuring him celebrating New Year's Eve with his family.

He has played alongside Jan Oblak as a member of the Slovenian men's national team during his professional career.
