Bernard Fonlon

ABOUT BERNARD FONLON

Politician and educator who served in Cameroon's Parliament for several years during the 1960's. He was also the deputy minister of foreign affairs and the minister of transport.

He originally planned on going into the priesthood.

His became the head of the Department of Negro-African Literature at the University of Yaounde.

He was born in the town of Kumbo.

He was born in the same country as soccer player Roger Milla .
