ABOUT BERNARD LEE
He played M in the James Bond films, and also appeared in the acclaimed film, The Third Man. His other well-known films include The Blue Lamp, Whistle Down the Wind, and The Battle of the River Plate.
He first appeared onstage with his father in 1914 at age six.
He died during the filming of the James Bond film, For Your Eyes Only.
He was survived by his wife Ursula.
He was once given a $6,000 check by Richard Burton .
