ABOUT BERNARD MAKUZA

Politician who was the Prime Minister of Rwanda from 2000 to 2011. He notably belongs to no political party.

He was the Rwandan ambassador to Germany.

He was a member of the Democratic Republican Movement before the party was accused of genocide and before becoming Prime Minister he resigned his membership to the party.

He is an ethnic Hutu.

He and Agathe Uwilingiyimana served as Prime Minister of Rwanda.
