ABOUT BIANCA ZAPATKA
Celebrated vegan food blogger, vegan recipe developer, food stylist, and bestselling cookbook author widely recognized for her original plant-based recipes. She launched her self-titled food blog in both German and English in 2013 and it has consistently ranked among the most popular German-language vegan food blogs. She also authored several popular vegan cookbooks including Vegan Foodporn, which was a 2019 bestseller, Vegan & Easy, Vegan Soulfood, Vegan Cakeporn, Vegan Paradise, and Vegan Food Love.
She studied sports science at the University of Paderborn and attained a commercial training certification as well as a B-level coaching license. She began sharing her own original recipes and food photography on social media in 2013, helping her climb the ranks as a vegan influencer.
She also launched the Vegan Food App, which presents recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and conversion tools. In 2020, she earned the German Influencer Award in the Macro category.
She is of Polish descent. She has stated that she came from a creatively inclined family which inspired her early interest in cooking.
Both she and Deb Perelman are respected food bloggers.
