ABOUT BILL DAVIS
Member of the Ontario PC Party who served as the 18th Premier of Ontario from 1971 to 1985. He also served his country as its Minister of Education during the mid 1960's and he notably helped create both Trent University and Brock University as well as another twenty-two community colleges.
He earned a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School after graduating from the University of Toronto in 1951.
He was ranked the second-best Canadian premier by the Institute of Research on Public Policy's in 2012.
He was born to lawyer Albert Davis and Rosa Haweston.
He served as a Canadian premier at the same time as Premier of Alberta Peter Lougheed .
