ABOUT BLUE SKY
American painter and sculptor who created the mural called Tunnelvision, whose idea he said came to him in a dream. He has other well known murals called Busted Plug and Neverbust.
He served as a jet aircraft technician in the Air National Guard. He has made a living solely by creating art easel paintings, murals, and sculptures since 1970.
He legally changed his name from Warren Edward Johnson to Blue Sky. He made over 20 public murals throughout his artistic career.
His parents raised him in Columbia, South Carolina.
He and Andy Duncan both attended The University of South Carolina.
