ABOUT BOBBY ENRIQUEZ
Jazz artist known as the Wild Man of Mindanao for his fingerwork and for "attacking" the piano with elbows, wrists, and (finally) hands.
He was entirely self-taught until a base legal officer at the U.S. Air Force Officers Club in Tainan, Taiwan, enrolled him in a Berklee School of Music correspondence course. He finished the course in two weeks.
He converted to Christianity in 1993 and quickly applied his musical abilities to the traditional hymnal.
He married his wife Barbara with whom he had six daughters and two sons.
He was a skilled martial artist who was known for his reflexes. Some said he may have been faster than Bruce Lee .
