Canadian MMA fighter and athlete who gained recognition as a contestant on the 27th season of the reality television series The Ultimate Fighter . In the year 2022, he won the BRAVE Combat Federation Bantamweight Championship. The following year, he made his second appearance on The Ultimate Fighter.

He was a Power Rangers fan as a child, which inspired him to pursue karate. He took his first karate class at the age of five.

He has a degree in mechanical engineering. His nickname is Superman. Katona faced Garrett Armfield on January 20, 2024, at UFC 297. He lost the bout by unanimous decision. Katona is scheduled to face Jesse Butler on June 8, 2024 at UFC on ESPN 57. He stands five feet, six inches tall.

His father, being a UFC fan, enrolled him in the Winnipeg Academy of Mixed Martial Arts.
