Former teenage soccer phenom that originally began his professional playing career with the Milton Keynes Dons Football Club in the year 2016. Just six years later, he signed a multi-year deal with West Bromwich Albion FC. He primarily plays the position of center-forward.
He first began playing soccer as a kid within the Milton Keynes Dons youth academy. In the year 2016, he was named the Milton Keynes Dons Academy Player of the Year.
He made his professional club debut with Milton Keynes while playing against the Shrewsbury Town FC on August 6, 2016. He and his teammates won the match with a score of 1-0. On March 19, 2022, Thomas-Asante scored his first career hat-trick in a 5-1 home victory over Scunthorpe United.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Milton Keynes, England. He is of Jamaican and Ghanaian descent.
