ABOUT BRENDAN KAVANAGH
British pianist, instrumentalist, musician, artist, entertainer, and performer who is famous for playing the piano in public places. He is also known as "Dr K." His most notable genres include the boogie-woogie, classical, jazz, blues, rock and roll, and traditional Irish music.
He graduated from Middlesex University in London with first class single honours BA in English. He also obtained degrees at University College Dublin and University College Cork.
In January of 2024, he made news headlines after an argument with Chinese tourists while he was playing the piano and live streaming from London's St Pancras train station. British Transport Police officers intervened. He has earned more than 2.5 million subscribers on his Brendan Kavanagh YouTube channel.
His parents were Irish.
