ABOUT BRIAN BRANCH

Professional football player and athlete known for playing for the Detroit Lions as part of the NFL and playing for the University of Alabama. He is also known for playing multiple football positions including safety and nickel cornerback.

He played varsity football for Sandy Creek High School. He chose to play college football at the University of Alabama over offers from several top football programs such as Georgia, LSU, and Ohio State. He played for the University of Alabama for three seasons.

He made his professional NFL debut in 2023 for the Detroit Lions. He made a memorable NFL debut in the 2023 season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs by intercepting a pass from Patrick Mahomes and returning it 50 yards for a touchdown.

He was born and raised in Fayetteville, Georgia.

He has played alongside Kerby Joseph on the Detroit Lions. He was coached by Nick Saban during his time at the University of Alabama.
