Actress who was nominated for a 2010 Teen Choice Award for Breakout TV Female Star for her superior performance on Good Luck Charlie . She also starred as Olivia in the 2011 Disney TV movie Lemonade Mouth . In 2012, she released her platinum debut studio album, which featured the top 40 hit song "Ready or Not."

As an eight-year-old child, she became the youngest performer to play roles and sing in the San Francisco Fringe Festival.

She provided the voice of Thorn in the 2006 video game Bone: The Great Cow Race. She earned a undergraduate degree in anthropology from University of Southern California , a graduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology , and has begun earning another degree from Harvard University .

In October 2019, she married Griffin Cleverly . She previously dated singer and actor Shane Harper , whom she met while filming Good Luck Charlie. She moved to San Francisco, California with her family in 2000. She has a younger brother named Nick. She adopted a child in December 2022.

She appeared in the 2009 television film Labor Pains, which starred the Lindsay Lohan .
