She left her office job in 2012 to travel. She began regularly vlogging in November of that same year.

She has earned more than 40,000 YouTube subscribers.

She has a total of five siblings: two blood-related, three step-siblings. She vlogged alongside her longtime partner, Conor McMillen, on their Conor and Brittany YouTube channel. The two had a child together named Ilya before eventually splitting. She later began dating Bridgette Wolleat in 2018.

She and Alyse Parker teamed up to do an Acro Yoga Challenge video together.
