He was a production assistant on the 1999 films Never Been Kissed and Best Laid Plans.
He also executive produced the 2013 film Out of the Furnace. He produced the 2015 film Run All Night. He is presently in charge of a production company that operates under the name Energy Entertainment. He founded the company in Los Angeles in the year 2000.
He married Kira Nasrat.
He executive produced the series Extant alongside Steven Spielberg .
