ABOUT BRUCE BROWN

Pioneer of the surf film genre who was known for movies such as Surf Crazy and The Endless Summer.

His earliest surf film was 1958's Slippery When Wet.

He was inducted into the Surfers' Hall of Fame in Huntington Beach, California, in 2009.

He was married to Patricia Brown; they had three children together. His eldest son was filmmaker Dana Brown.

His motorcycle documentary called On Any Sunday featured riders like Mert Lawwill .
