ABOUT BUSHRA ANSARI

Award-winning Pakistani TV host, actress, and writer known for her roles in various capacities on the shows Bushra Bushra, Makan, Utho Geo Pakistan, and Bilqees Kaur. Her television fame has led her to amass over 800,000 Instagram followers.

Her entertainment career started when she was a child and was chosen to sing for a number of children's shows. She also worked as a model prior to really establishing her on-air career.

She was awarded a Pride of Performance in 1989 and also won a Lux Style Award in 2011. She has collaborated with cosmetic care brand Halawa Wax.

She married Iqbal Ansari in 1978 and has two children. Her father was Pakistani writer Ahmad Bashir.

She appeared alongside Danish Taimoor on the show Jab We Wed.
