ABOUT CAIO IBELLI

Professional surfer who is known for competing in the World Surfing League Men's World Tour. He is known for having earned sponsorship from several brands including Oakley Surfing, DHD Surfboards, and Red Bull surfing. He shares clips of his wave riding through Instagram as well for his over 130,000 followers.

He first began competing and earning recognition in 2011 when he won the Junior Arnette ASP World Championship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He then won the 2013 Qualifier series in Wanning, China. He earned a spot on the WSL World Tour in 2015 after winning the Qualifying Series.

He was awarded the 2016 World Surf League Rookie of the Year award in 2016. That same year he had his best season, ranking 16 in the World Tour Series.

He was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He's in a relationship with fellow pro surfer Alessa Quizon .
