Cameron Johnson

ABOUT CAMERON JOHNSON

Professional basketball player who is recognized for having played the small forward position for both the Pittsburgh Panthers and the North Carolina Tar Heels college teams. In 2019, he was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 11th overall pick. They immediately traded him and he has been playing for the Phoenix Suns since 2019. He was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2023.

As a senior in high school he averaged 27.8 points per game.

At the University of North Carolina, he was named All-ACC first team. In March of 2022, he became the second player in NBA history to make at least nine three-pointers in a game while also hitting a game-winning buzzer-beater.

He took a photo with all his siblings on Easter in 2019.

Both he and Mitch Creek played for the Minnesota Timberwolves .
