ABOUT CARL BANKS
Former NFL linebacker who won two Super Bowl Championships with the New York Giants in 1987 and 1991. He recorded 39.5 sacks over the course of his career.
He had a successful career while playing for Michigan State University and was drafted third overall in the 1984 NFL Draft.
He was named to the New York Giants Ring of Honor and the 1980s All-Decade Team.
He fathered four children, two sons and two daughters.
He won two Super Bowls, XXI and XXV, playing alongside Lawrence Taylor .
