ABOUT CARLOS BORJA

American defender who began his MLS career in 2006 with C.D. Chivas USA. He played for the USL's Los Angeles Blues and Guadalajara's Tapatio before re-joining Chivas USA in 2013.

He began playing with youth team Cruz Azul when he was 14 years old.

He was a member of the United States U17 team in 2004 and 2005.

He was born to Maria and Manuel Borja.

He was coached on C.D. Chivas USA by Bob Bradley .
