ABOUT CARLOS CARVALHAS

Secretary-General of the Portuguese Communist Party from 1992 to 2004.

He was born to the richest man in San Pedro do Sul hrough his lumber mill business.

He ran for President of Portugal in 1991 but received less than 13% of the vote.

He married Maria Manuel Lopes Marques Leal and has two sons with her.

He is a communist like Indian politician Jyoti Basu .
