Papua New Guinean politician who was the only female member of her country's Parliament from 2002 to 2012.

She was born and raised in Australia and moved to Papua New Guinea as a young adult.

She led the Melanesian Alliance party until her retirement in 2012.

She moved to Papua New Guinea when she married Sir Buri Kidu.

She was a highly influential Papua New Guinean politician like Paias Wingti .
