Professional Norwegian singles and doubles player that was ranked one of the top ten tennis players in the world as of October 2021. He has won over seven singles titles during his professional tennis career. He recorded his maiden win at Wimbledon 2022, where he defeated Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

In 2016, he was named the number one junior tennis player in the world.

He won his first career professional singles title at the Argentina Open in February 2020. He has gained a large following on his casperruud Instagram account for his Tennis content.

His father, Christian, played tennis professionally for over ten years. In 2018, he began dating Maria Galligani. The couple announced their engagment in November 2024.

He defeated Diego Schwartzman at the 2022 Argentina Open.
