English TV actress famous for her role with  ITV News and for being an anchor on Loose Women. In 2014, she became the first woman of color to present the news for ITV News. She has also played a newswoman in multiple TV movies and other projects.

She graduated from the London College of Printing.

She posts selfies, as well as photos of family and friends, on her charlenewhite Instagram account, which has amassed 120,000 followers. In 2022, she appeared on the reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here .

She and her partner Andy have two children.

She and Kaye Adams anchor for the show Loose Women.
