Charles Bediako

ABOUT CHARLES BEDIAKO

Canadian professional basketball player who is best known for playing for the San Antonio Spurs . He also played college basketball for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

He began playing basketball at Ridley College. He transferred to Andrews Osborne Academy in his junior year and then transferred to IMG Academy for his senior season. Bediako was a consensus four-star recruit and one of the top centers in the 2021 class. On April 6, 2021, he committed to playing college basketball for Alabama over offers from Duke, Michigan, Texas and Ohio State.

In the 2021 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup, he helped Canada win the bronze medal by averaging four points and 2.9 rebounds per game. He stands 7' tall and weighs about 220 pounds.

He and his brother Jaden A. Bediako played basketball together in high school.

He and Tim Duncan have both played for the San Antonio Spurs.
