ABOUT CHARLI COLLIER

American born basketball player who was drafted with the No. 1 pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. During her junior year of college, she was the only NCAA Division I player averaging at least 20.0 points per game and 12.0 rebounds per game.

As a senior in high school, she was a McDonald's All-American, a Jordan Brand Classic participant and winner of the 2017-18 Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year award for the state of Texas.

During a December 22, 2019 game against the No. 1 ranked Stanford Cardinals, she grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds while scoring a game-high 20 points in just 37 minutes of playing time. Her 19-rebound performance was the eighth-most ever recorded during a single game in program history.

Both of her parents played collegiate basketball, and she also has a brother that played football at the University of Southern California .

Along with her passion for hoops, she also has a passion for sports broadcasting. During her free time, she was able to interview fellow Texas alum Kevin Durant .
