ABOUT CHAZ LAINER
Former NCAA All-American that played college basketball at the University of North Florida and the University of Tennessee from 2020 until 2025. During his lone season at Tennessee, he was named the SEC Newcomer of the Year and a member of the first team All-SEC. He was eventually drafted by the Detroit Pistons as a second rounder in 2025.
He is a graduate of The Ensworth School in Nashville, Tennessee. While there, he played three years of varsity basketball.
He finished his collegiate basketball career as Tennessee's all-time single season leader in three pointers. Following that season, he was given the Jerry West award.
He is the son of Thomas and Stacey Lanier. He also has an older brother named Trey.
He credits LeBron James as being his basketball influences growing up.
