ABOUT CHELSEA THORPE

Collegiate volleyball player who began her career at Ohio State University where she was named the OSU Scholar Athlete in 2022. Following her sophomore year at Ohio State, she transferred to the University of North Carolina

She attended Whitney M. Young High School, where she served as team captain for two years and led in scoring during both her junior and senior seasons. She led the team to secure three consecutive city championships.

She was named Prep Volleyball's Top 150 club players for both the 2019-20 and 2021-22 seasons, and was also included in Prep Dig's Top 50 in 2021-22. During the 2024 season, she recorded double-digit kills in 13 matches.

She is the daughter of Jerry and Monique Thorpe. She has two sisters, Chloe and Courtney, and a brother, Malik.
