ABOUT KZ OKPALA

Small forward who was selected in the 2nd round of the 2019 NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns , who then traded his rights to the Miami Heat . He played two years of college basketball at Stanford University prior to declaring for the NBA. After three years with the Heat, he signed with the Sacramento Kings in 2022.

In his early years, he was involved in football and baseball, but it was at the age of 11 that he shifted his focus exclusively to basketball. He, later on, attended Esperanza High School in Anaheim, California.

Over his four years of playing high school basketball, he experienced a growth spurt, going from 5 ft 10 to 6 ft 8 in.

He is from Anaheim, California. He was born to Nigerian parents. His full name is Chikezie Jake Okpala.

He was teammates with star forward Jimmy Butler on the Heat.
