ABOUT CHIQUINHO

Professional soccer player who plays for S.L. Benfica as an attacking midfielder. He was part of the winning squad that won the 2022-23 Primeira Liga. In May of 2018, he signed a five-year deal with S.L. Benfica.

He began his youth career at UDS Roriz in the year 2003. He finished his youth career with Leixōes SC.

In February of 2017, he signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Croatian club NK Lokomotiva. His first match for the team took place in February of that year. Chiquinho made his Portugal under-21 debut on November 12, 2021, replacing Fábio Silva in the second half of the 1-0 win in Cyprus in the 2023 UEFA European Championship qualifiers.

He is in a relationship with Catarina Nunes. Together, they have a son and a daughter.

In June of 2022, he posted a photo on his Instagram account chiquinho22_. It featured himself alongside Lewis Hamilton .
