ABOUT CHRIS BROWN

Singer and worship leader recognized as a member of Elevation Worship , a band formed from North Carolina's Elevation Church. Formed by Steven Furtick , the group debuted in 2007 with the independent album The Sound.

Growing up in a religious family, his father was a pastor for 25 years and his mother was a singer and a musician. He would eventually earn a degree in vocal performance at Anderson University.

Several of Elevation Worship's live albums, like There Is a Cloud and Here as in Heaven, peaked at #1 on the US Christian charts.

He and his wife, Beth, have two children, Joah and Adelaide.

With Elevation Worship, he has toured with Kari Jobe , Hillsong Worship, Jesus Culture, and numerous other bands.
