ABOUT CHRIS FISCHER
Chef well known for being the husband of comedian and actress Amy Schumer . He traveled the world as a chef before returning to Martha's Vineyard to run his family's farm in 2015. He opened Martha's Vineyard's Beach Plum Restaurant.
During his twenties, he worked as a sous chef at Mario Batali 's Babbo in New York City. He had met Batali through Jake Gyllenhaal .
He had his book The Beetlejuice Farm Cookbook: A Year of Cooking on Martha's Vineyard published in June of 2015. It won a James Beard award in 2016.
His grandfather purchased Beetlebung Farm in the '50s. His sister is the assistant of Schumer.
Barack and Michelle Obama have endorsed his restaurant Martha's Vineyard's Beach Plum.
