Center who starred at the University of Texas from 2005 to 2009, where he was an All-American as a senior.

He was a two-time all-district selection while playing at Irving High School.

He was considered one of the best offensive linemen draft prospects out of college, but he chose to quit football to enroll in Bible School.

He was born and raised in Irving, Texas.

In college he was coached by Mack Brown .
