He started playing soccer with the team, Lyon in the 1996-1997 season.

He was asked to represent the Congo national team in 2006, but was not allowed to due to FIFA stating he was too late in applying for a status change.

His family comes from Paris, France.

He is known for being a professional soccer player like Robbie Rogers .
