ABOUT CHRISTIAN WOOD

6'11" forward/center who played college basketball for UNLV from 2013 to 2015. He declared for the 2015 NBA Draft after his sophomore season and was projected as an early second-round pick. In 2023, he began playing for the Los Angeles Lakers .

He began his high school basketball career at Knight High School in Palmdale, California. He spent his senior year at Findlay College Prep in Henderson, Nevada.

He averaged a team-best 2.7 blocks per game his sophomore year at UNLV, earning First-team All-Mountain West honors. He has played on more than 10 teams throughout his ongoing professional career.

He was born in Long Beach, California.

He began his career at UNLV a year after NBA first-round pick Anthony Bennett ended his career at UNLV.
