ABOUT CIPRIANI POTTER
Important pianist and conductor in London during the 19th century. He was also a prolific composer.
He taught both piano and conducting at the Royal Academy of Music.
He premiered many of Mozart's piano concertos to the London public.
His father Richard Huddleston Potter was a piano teacher and became his first instructor.
He met Ludwig van Beethoven when he traveled to Vienna in 1817. Beethoven advised him to take up studies with Aloys Förster.
