ABOUT CJ SANDERS

American football running back and kick returner who joined the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish as part of the class of 2019. He made an immediate impact as a freshman, taking over kick and punt returning duties and scoring two touchdowns.

He was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, having spent his first three years in Tennessee and his senior season in California.

He acted as a child, appearing in the movie Ray and on the show Six Feet Under. He's friends with actor Jamie Foxx .

He was born to Chris Sanders, a former NFL wide receiver, and Stacie Harris. His siblings are named Cierra and Cori.

He was teammates with wideout Will Fuller in 2015.
