ABOUT CLARE FISCHER
Versatile musician who arranged and composed more than 50 albums. He greatly influenced Herbie Hancock .
His breakthrough came in the five years he spent with the musically pioneering group The Hi-Lo's.
He composed the jazz standard Pensativa and a salsa standard called Morning, winning a Grammy Award for his album Clare Fischer & Salsa Picante Present "2 + 2" from 1981.
He was born in Durand, Michigan, the third of four children to a family of European descent.
He collaborated with such renowned artists as singer Natalie Cole , former Beatle Paul McCartney, and the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.
