ABOUT CLARENCE D. CLARK

American teacher, lawyer, and politician who was one of Wyoming's first congressmen from 1890 to 1893. He was also a US Senator from 1895 to 1917.

He studied law at the University of Iowa at Iowa City and was admitted to the bar in 1874.

He served two office terms, and lost his bid for reelection for a third.

He married Alice Downs.

He and George Crockett were both congressmen.
