ABOUT CLYDE LOVELLETTE
The first basketball player to play on NBA, NCAA, and Olympic championship-winning teams.
He led the nation in scoring his senior year and was named the Helms College Player of the Year while at the University of Kansas.
He became known for being one of the first big men in basketball to move outside the paint and employ a one-handed set shot that extended his shooting range.
He married Judy Lovellette in 1954.
He became a star at the University of Kansas under Hall of Fame coach Phog Allen .
