Professional sportscaster and business executive who audiences have watched regularly on The NHL on TSN. He has also worked as the General Manager of the Calgary Flames and as a scout for the Toronto Maple Leafs .

He received his bachelor's degree in economics from Concordia University in 1987.

He was the Director of Player Personnel for the Dallas Stars when they won the Stanley Cup championship in 1999.

His father Jack was a hockey executive and his mother Bridget worked for the Maple Leafs.

He was part of the group that drafted future hockey stars Derian Hatcher and Jere Lehtinen .
