Keyboardist for the 1970s hard rock band Grand Funk Railroad. He also played keyboard for Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band.
He joined Grand Funk in 1973. He was responsible for Grand Funk Railroad's # 1 hit song "We're an American Band."
He and a few Grand Funk members, including Mel Schacher , formed Flint after leaving in 1977.
He grew up in Flint, Michigan.
He and Don Brewer were both members of Grand Funk Railroad often collaborating on writing songs together.
