ABOUT CRISTINA GONZALEZ ROMUALDEZ

Actress and former politician who is best recognized for having served as the Mayor of Tacloban City from 2016 until 2019. She is also known for having starred in the feature films Pedrito Masangkay: Walang bakas na iniwan and Nang gabing mamulat si Eba.

She first started her career in entertainment as a singer under the name Kring Kring. It wasn't until 1982 that she made her debut in the film Mainit na puso.

She is also known for having served as the Councilor of Tacloban from June of 2007 until June of 2016.

She is known for being the daughter of fellow actor Jose Mari Gonzales. Her younger sister Anna was also an actress.

She served as Mayor of Tacloban City under Leni Robredo after the 2016 Philippine Election.
